System Operation
Commercial quality, solar powered lighting system. Solar panels absorb the sun rays even on overcast days, converting them to electricity. The electricity is stored in batteries. A charge controller controls the functions of the system. It regulates the battery - preventing overcharging and protecting against discharging. A controller is provided to turn the floodlights on at dusk. It acts as a timer - regulating the hours, the light stays on. The standard system is designed to operate from dusk to dawn throughout the year.
